The aim of this book is to motivate the students towards self-realisation and make them paln for a development in their personality. The first unit assists them to understand the meaning for personality and the stages in the development. Thje concept of ' Self ' and individual Selfculturing are introduced to them in the second unit. When an individual wants to develop the personality, she has to foresee the problems in the development and the third unit is helpful in analysing the problems. The society and the self interact with each other. As women students, they have to realise the problems faced by women in their relationship with hthe society. The final unit prepares the students to grow into an integrated personality.
