How to buy books from Noolulagam.com website?

For detailed explanation you can visit our “Tamil books online Shopping” page. Otherwise it is three step process

1. Select any Tamil book or product you want to purchase using “Add to Cart” ( ) option given for the product you want to buy.

2. Then Use “edit/chckout” link comes in your shopping cart space or alternatively using this “edit/checkout

3. Before doing #2, you need to become a member at our website using “signup” or Login if you are already an member

What are all the different order status and its meaning?

Status

Description

Authorized (For Online Payment Gateway only) If you have paid through our online payment gateway, your order status will be Authorized. Once your payment has been realized, your order moves to Pending status.
Pending By default, your order will be put to pending status. This means that your order is waiting for the payment.
Under Processing Your order has been picked and we will be fulfilling your order and your order is getting ready for packing
Processed Your order is processed and ready for shipping anytime. Typically it will be shipped same day or next day and you will be given tracking code to track your order
Shipped Your order has been packed and left our premises for delivery.
Partially Shipped On rare cases if we could not ship all the ooks you have ordered, we will be shipped your order in multiple consignments and the order status will be partially shipped.
Delivered Your order has been delivered.
Returned Your order has been returned to us.
Cancelled Your order has been cancelled. Only Pending orders can be cancelled.
Completed Your order is delivered and it is complete from all aspects.

 

How do I check the status of my orders?

Your order status is updated periodically through your registered email to you.

Alternately you can login to your account and visit “My Orders” page to check the status of the given order.

How can I track the delivery of my order?

Email is send is send to you with tracking link and tracking code. so you can use them to view the order status.

Alternatively you can login and use the link (Track“) given against the given order to track the order status.

When and how can I cancel an order?

You can call us anytime to cancel your order. if you order is not shipped then it is easy for us to cancel your order. However if it has left our office then you need to follow return procedure to return the books.

Payments

Are there any extra charges when I make a purchase on Noolulagam.com?

For books you are only charged based on the book cost, during packing we check the prices of books against your invoice and if we notice any pricing mismatch we will co-ordinate with you to send extra money or other books.

Only extra cost you pay is for the Shipping and Handling, which will be when you purchase orders below INR 500 and refer to Delivery FAQ for the delivery charges below INR 500.

Can you deliver books on Cash on Delivery (COD)?

We will send you the order through India Post – Value Payable Post (V.P.P) and you can pay the amount to postman when you receive the same. Please contact us through phone or mail and we are glad to assist you.

What are the different payment modes supported by Noolulagam.com?

  • Credit and Debit Cards
  • Online Bank transfers

Additionally we are providing the following options

  • DD or MO
  • Direct NEFT transfer to our SBI account
  • Cash deposit to our SBI account

For international purchase, we offer paypal based payment, please get in touch with us so that we can send the required Paypal invoice for the same.

How can i get Free Home Delivery?

We provides Free Home Delivery anywhere in INDIA if your total order amount is more than INR 499 so you need to make sure that you choose books value is more than INR 499.

How much are the delivery charges?

We provides Free Home Delivery anywhere in INDIA if your total order amount is more than INR 499. Otherwise INR 36 to 52 is charged as delivery charges based on your delivery location and book weights.

How to you send the books I order?

We send all of our orders through reputed couriers or Indian Postal Service. Currently we are using Professional couriers for Tamilnadu, Kerala, Pondicherry and Karnataka orders. For all other orders India post service is used. For international shipping India Post Airmail/Speed mail options are used.

What is the estimated delivery time?

We are working hard to ship books on same day or next day of receiving your orders.

  • Generally it will takes 2 to 7 business days to reach your destination (Business days exclude Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays).
  • Due to bad weather conditions or social disturbances, delivery time by our logistics partner may vary. We will keep you informed about the same.

As of now 95% of orders are shipped on same day of receiving the orders and 85% of orders get delivered next day, i.e with in 24 hours.
