A Slum No More is an inspiring story that must be told so that those involved in poverty alleviation and habitat improvement efforts in India have a viable paradigm to emulate. It is the story of the integrated development of an urban slum in its existing location, led by a small team of committed citizens who gave cheerfully of their valuable time, thanks to the vision of the Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation, and the support it received from the Rotary Club of Madras East, the residents of Annai Sathya Nagar, the state government, municipal administration and Metrowater, volunteers, social workers, students and professionals from different fields.
