ரஜனி காட்சிப்படுத்தும் சம்பவங்களும்,வரைந்து காட்டும் மனிதர்களும் இன்றைய நடுத்தர வர்க்கத்துத் தமிழர்களைப் பிரதிநதித்துவப்படுத்துபவை. ஆனால், தம் கதைகளின் மூலம் அவர் முன்வைக்கும் ஆதாரமான பிரச்னைகள் எல்லாமே சர்வதேசத் தன்மை பொருந்தியவை.

Rajani�??s Mazhai Rusi represents the Tamil middle-class society. He visualises his characters from this strata of the society. Though the characters are drawn from one particular section in the society, the problems faced by these characters have universal resemblance. This novel is written in a simple yet crafty style which makes reading a pleasure.
