This book contains more than 1100 popular Proverbs. They have been evolved not only by our people but also by the people other countries in the course of centuries out of their rich experience. Hence they have the universal character. Out of these, special explanation have been furnished for 90 often recurring proverbs. We hope that this book will receive good response not only from students but also all sections of our people as they will be useful for all. We are very thankful to Shri V.
