Dr. M.Sundaramari, native of madurai, had his master,s degree in  agricultural extension from TNAU in 1989 and doctorate degree in :Indigenous agricultural practices "from gandhigram rural university in 2002 . He is the recipient of five medals for his academic excellence during his studies. He has a teaching experience of more then 16 years at UG and PG levels. He has lready published a book entitled Ïndigenous Agricultural Practices for sustainable farming "by agrobies, jodhpur and authored eight monographs on various subjects like rural development, agricultural extension , extension methods etc. He has 18 research articles ,21 popular articles, 36 seminar papers to hsi credit.He is currently guiding four candidates for their doctoral degree in agriculture. He has also organized various seminars and training programmes  in agriculture and served as a resource person for many government and non- government
organizations. He is also serving as the co- director for the UGC sponsored centre for jatropha and BIO-fuels promotion at faculty of agriculture , gandhigram rural university.
